got to know steve pretty well the past few years at the old shop. always enjoyed our conversations about music , guitars , amps , etc. he was a great guy, generous, kind hearted. i'm glad to have known him. so sorry to hear he's passed. R.I.P my friend

a kid from elmira came to a neighborhood in horseheads and we found a new friend, and the ol neighborhood grew by one. we all had fun. gone but not forgotten.

I am so deeply saddened by the news of Steve Bacon passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. He was a sweet, kind, caring and loving human being. He was continuously supportive of the local artists and of the music scene. As we shared the love of music together, I could always look out in the audience and feel his calm demeanor and see his smiling face. He was such a good friend to me, as he was to many of us, and I will be forever grateful to him for that.
You will be missed Steve…Rest in Peace my friend

I was so sad to hear of your passing, but I do believe your spirit still survives and you know how much you are missed.
