Steven Boyd

September 16th, 1947-December 17th, 2023

Our Dad left his earthly home on the morning of Sunday, December 17th, 2023 surrounded by his loving wife of 46 years and his children who loved him so very much.

Our Dad was the strongest man we knew. Dad could build anything, fix anything and everything he touched, he made beautiful. His work was perfection. Our Dad loved to be outside planting a garden or tending to his beautiful flowers. He was an artist in so many ways and talented in all that he did.

Our Dad had an answer for everything and we called him a "walking encyclopedia".

Our Dad was well read and full of dry wit.

You could always find Dad studying his scriptures. He had a scripture for every life question.

He was so inspirational in all he did that his grandkids loved to mimic him. Dad built a house at 70 years old and a had a little helper in his grandson Tyler who surely greeted him in his entry to Heaven.

Dad loved his grandchildren so very much. They were everything to him and their happiness was constant in his thoughts.

Our Dad was a picky eater and was only satisfied by our mother's home cooked meals.

Our Dad was all for shock value and once cut the tip of his finger off loading a dirt bike into the back of a truck and left it on the counter top for Mom to find.

Dad loved Elvis Presley and could sing a striking resemblance of " HeartBreak Hotel".

Our Dad was a constitutionalist and could never stand down a good political debate.

In any free time that Dad had, you could find him on the golf greens. Dad loved golf and it brought him so much peace. Dad spent the last few years enjoying golf with his good friend since high school, Scott Teuscher.

Our Dad was a true and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many callings throughout his life that he served with all his heart.

Dad leaves behind his loving wife Laura. His children August (Chad),Amy (Steve), Andy (Mollie), Gonzo (Liz) and Alexis (Dave). His adoring grandchildren Nikki, Mady, Zoey, Carson,Anna, Alex, Austin, Addy, Noah, Lexie,Evelyn, Emilia and Axel.

He also leaves behind his dear sister, Phyliss Fears. He is preceded in death by his sidekick and grandson Tyler, as well as his parents, his brother Joe and his sisters, Mary, Judy and Pat.

We will miss him and think of him often and hold the memories close to our hearts.

A celebration of life will be held on January 6th, 2024
