My sincere condolences to all of Steve's family and friends. I am a classmate of Steve's from Shakopee High School and remember Steve fondly. As I was telling my wife about him today I told her that Steve always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude towards life. I am thankful that we had recently reconnected via Facebook and got to see pictures of Steve and his family enjoying themselves in the northwoods. I am glad that I knew Steve as the world was a better place with someone like him in it. I know this must be a devastating loss for all who knew him so much better than me.

Beth, I and my family are so sad and sorry about your loss and his families loss. Steve was good to me and my family. When John was in the hospital for the whole summer, Steve would talk to me. And just by talking to me, that would gave me some comfort.

He replaced my broken mailbox one day : at his own cost and labor. I will remember that forever. No one had ever done a good dead like that for me in a long time. Never forget it!

Beth and the boys would : out of the blue come over: rake up all my leaves and haul them away. My grand kids needed air in their swimming pool and the boys would be right over filling it with air.

My sidewalks were cleared of the snow too, by Steve and the boys. Never had to do it myself.

I really really appreciate you, Beth and your boys, I really miss Steve. And am here for you Beth and your boys. I am right next door. Anything, anytime.
