Steven Brun Caldwell

I was a doctoral student at Cornell in the late 1980s and my first job at Cornell was working for Steve as he was developing microsimulations to help with career planning. I learned an immense amount from that job and the opportunity to jump right into research activity. I really appreciate all the time and effort he gave to doctoral training during that time.

I am a staff member in the Sociology Department at Cornell and worked with Steve. It was great working with him, he was very kind to the staff. Steve always had a good sense of humor. We all missed him when he retired in 2006.
