I babysat the Cooper girls when the family lived on Heywood Road in Montreal. I babysat on Friday evenings when his wife went to pick him up at the airport. Mr. Cooper was always kind, jovial and friendly to me. He told me stories of some the Hollywood people he dealt with, reminding me that although they appeared larger than life, often they were anything but. I remember his wide smile. I had a big crush on Glen Campbell at the time so he got me tickets when Campbell appeared at the Montreal Forum.

I send sincere condolences to his family and deeply regret that he did not have the years he surely deserved. Sarah Reingewirtz

I am deeply saddened... Steve was my agent and my friend. We JUST spoke a few days before he passed, I had no idea..
How can I attend a memorial service? Sad...

Steve was a very dear friend of mine and I am sick to my stomach of his passing. He was a great friend and really one of the good ones. He will be sorely missed forever. Dick Fox
