Steve and I worked on a case together. He was a true professional who practiced law with style, grace and compassion. Our legal community has lost a good and honorable man.

Steve was one of my first counselors at Camp Ajecomce and Camp Barney Medintz when I was 8 years old. Now 27, I can honestly say that Steve was one of my first role models and that certain aspects of my (and other camp friends) lives have been molded by Steve. I feel lucky to have known Steve and to have kept in touch throughout all of these years. My condolenses to all family and friends, he truly was a special person and his traits and messages will carry on in everyone whom he has touched.

My best thoughts of Steve are these; the day he came in and announced to me that he was taking 6 months off and buying a motorcycle, his big smile and distinguishable laugh above all others, and the man never met a martini he didn't like....what a dangerous man he was....will he ever be missed....keep the wind to your back and the blue sky in front of you as you continue your journey....

My daughter, Karen, and her husband, Scott Monge, spoke highly of Steve. He was a respected co-worker and a dear friend to Scott. As a parent, I can only imagine the hurt you are going through. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
My deepest condolences.
