Steven Gordon Gatrell

I had the opportunity to go on a great many adventures with Steve, Feb. in New Orleans,or at "the Gathering" in southern utah. His passing will be a great loss to all of those who loved the freedom of this country and the unspoiled beauty of the outdoors.I,we have lost a good man and a great friend....rest in peace old friend

Brother and Sister Gatrell,



I only met Steve a couple of times, but based on the stories that Scott has told me, I feel like I knew him. I know that Scott has a lot of admiration and respect for his big brother. I know that Steve and Scott are sons of good parents. That plus the fact that Scott feels strongly about him is good enough for me to say Steve Gatrell was a great guy. My prayers are with you and your family at this challenging time.

I will remember Steve always for his love and compassion. When I was 16 and wanted to ride motorcycles (but wouldn't ride behind anyone) Steve taught me how.

32 years later I think of him and am grateful to him every time I "saddle up".

He will be greatly missed by many.

Steve was a good man whos time ended much too soon.

Steve was always a go-getter. He came up with new ideas and wasn't afraid to try them.

I just wanted Steve's family to know what a great friend he was to me, how he helped me out with many projects, and our discussions of the Constitution and Constitutional liberties.
