I met Steve through college. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for me. Somehow I tricked him into thinking I was super smart. He used to call me Jimmy Neutron after the boy genius cartoon. I had a lot of fun getting to know Steve. He was smart and funny and a great person to be around. I always felt a better person for knowing him. I wish we wouldn't have lost contact after college and that we lived closer. I know how much he loved his family and I hope to be able to follow in those footsteps with my own family.
My heart and prayers are with his family and friends. He may be gone but he is still alive in Christ.

I got to meet Steve and his family through Jeannette and Gerald Komro(sr). My first real memory of him is when we did the Roy 4th of July parade and his kids all rode with us and the miniature horses. Brandon rode on horse back and his 2 girls rode with us in our carts. When asked his impression of the display he gave us 2 BIG thumbs up. I also know he was a co-worker of Jerry Sr. I will miss you Steve.

You gave me my first motorcycle ride, let me shoot an elephant gun for the first time, and was there for my wedding. I miss you so much. Rest in piece and give Oma my love…

Steven was a friend 30 years ago,I wish we hadn't lost contact, Marge is an exceptional lady and though it is hard to fathom our heavenly fathers plan at times I want her to know this time is but a blink of an eye in eternity, they will be together again, my prayers and that of my wife's will be with you and the girls Margie, Robin and Joann Svarrer

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. rest in peace my old friend until we meet again.

While I'm not certain of the conversations that we have had, I know that we have sat across from each other discussing Delana at a parent/teacher conference when she was in K4.I'm also pretty sure that I remember you picking Brandi up from school once or twice on your motorcycle.While it made me feel nervous, I know that you felt confident and were making great memories with your daughter. My heart has ached for Margie and the girls but I know that they rely on a great comforter and know that this is not forever. You have served and blessed many and will be remembered with much love. Until we meet again...

I never met you Steve and until very recently I had never met your family. Since the slide I have been fortunate to meet some of the people that love you so very much. It's very clear to me that you are greatly missed. Jeff and I feel so blessed to have met your family Steve .... wish we could have met you. You and those that love you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Your have blessed my life in so very many ways over the past 31 years. Although I feel like it was way to short of a time with you, I am so thankful God gave us as much as He did. I know we will be together again and then it will be for an eternity. I know without a doubt That God created you just for me. You will always be my perfect soul mate. I love you. I met Steve and his amazing family when I worked with his wife in 2002. They showed me great kindness and Margie has a beautiful Spirit within her. May our Lord guide and comfort you, Delana, and Brandi through this journey. Rev that motor in heaven, Steve, we'll see ya later.

Every time that I talked to Steve, he'd never fail to make me laugh. I didn't get to know him too well, but he was an amazing man and an amazing father to my friends. Rest in peace.

Steve was a great guy. He has two amazing daughters and a great wife that I feel for. He will be missed so much by so many people. Wish this never happened. But he will always be there watching over.

I didn't know Steve but I just know he was an amazing person with such a kind family. I am so sorry for your family's loss. He is with all of you every day watching over you. You are in my thoughts and prayers

John 14:1-4, Steven was called back to Heaven to help build the many mansions... My prayers are with this family for their tremendous loss... its temporary ... we will see Steven again. What was taken away will be restored.

Hey bro, I love and miss you more then any words I can write. You are and always will be a huge part of me. If I turn out to be half the man you are, I will be blessed.
