Steven Richard Hester, 78, of Shorewood, IL, passed away on July 31, 2022, in Wurzburg, Germany. Steve grew up in Evergreen Park with his parents Steven John and Mable Hester. He mastered the family cabinet business with his father and passed along his amazing craft and grew the business further with his son, Richard. Steve enjoyed hunting big game, fishing, and spending time with friends. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Katherine Hester (nee Arslanian) his two children, Carrie Kaufmann (Rick) and Richard Hester (Melissa) and his three grandchildren Caroline, Cole, and Mason.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, August 12th 10:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 Brook Forest Ave, Shorewood, IL 60404.

A celebratory luncheon will follow 11:30am-3:30pm at Hero's West Sports Grill 1530 Commerce Lane, Joliet 60431.
