Bud, I still can't believe your gone. Not one day has gone by that I haven't thought about you. I still can't believe that I will never see your face behind the front desk at the hotel. Not only were you my employee but you were family. You are truly missed. You will continue to live on through your children and that gives me comfort. Love and miss you dearly.

I never knew what a real friend was until the day that I met you. I knew from our first moments together hanging out that I had found a kindred spirit in you a rare gem. Through 20 years you were my friend no time seemed to pass when you were around. Through ups and downs I always knew one call to you and you'd be there to hug me tight and help me out or simply listen. No matter the length of time we went not speaking we always picked up right where we left off. So many hard times I've been through and can't imagine what I would have done if I hadn't had you. Now your gone and I'm still in shock. My heart is missing a very big part. I don't know what I will do and thinking of life without you seems so unbearable . You were a real friend and those are so hard to find. I find comfort in Talking with the ones you love ones we share memories with. You will always be on my mind and in my heart . May we meet again on the other side. Where there is no pain no worries there and love always flows so pure and real. I love you steve.

On Friday, November 18th, the world lost one of its most beautiful hearts, one of its deepest souls. Steve was unlike any person I have ever met. He got me through my darkest of nights and I did the same for him. We would sit and talk on the phone for hours, telling each other our deepest fears and darkest thoughts, with zero judgment.
When our mutual friend Autumn died, we sat with each other at her house after the funeral and talked for hours about the "dark night of the soul" and about grief and about sadness and about love and about the ugly underbelly of life. We laughed, we cried, we hugged, we loved each other.
He supported me like no one else ever has and I did the same for him. He is one of my most precious angels and there are no words for how much I am going to miss him.
My heart goes out to his parents and his children and Brandi. I'm so sorry for your loss and if there is ANYTHING I can do to help, please let me know. I mean it. I'll fly out there if I have to. I love you all.
