Steven Larson Obituary
He was born on August 23rd, 1943, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, to Donald and Dorothea Larson.
On December 27th, 1965, Steve and Joan Bisson were united in marriage. They were blessed with three children: Jackie, Melissa, and Brent. Joan passed away on July 19, 2021.
Steve married Diane Hartley in April of 2022.
Steve graduated from Mankato State University with a master's degree in finance. He was a CPA and a CFO for Churchill Companies until he retired in 2014 and moved to Arizona full time. Steve enjoyed hiking, golfing, traveling, and spending time with family & friends. Steve was a humble, gentle, kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Steve was a faithful member of Valley Presbyterian Church. He volunteered at Valley Assistance Services and was on the Board for Valley Presbyterian.
Steve is survived by his wife, Diane; children, Jackie (Paul) Dietzler, Melissa (David) Savage-Hilden, Brent (Deanna) Larson; grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica, Joshua & Aleigha Dietzler, Alysha & Tristan Sinner, Gracen Savage & Peyton Larson; siblings, Jon, Charles, Randall, Timothy & Julie and many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Larson; parents, Donald and Dorothea Larson; brothers Bradley, Cory, Scott and Douglas; in-laws, Ron & Anne Bisson & Elizabeth Dockstader.
A celebration of Steve's life was held on Monday, February 17, at 10 a.m. at Valley Presbyterian Church. The recorded service is available for viewing at www.valleypres.net.
