I'm so sad to hear of the loss of Sgt. Major. He was my son's teacher at the Military and Global Leasership Academy and he thourougjly enjoyed him. I remember, he was loud and always had a smile on his face, always positive. My son would come home with stories from the day, fun. He was such a blessing to my son the 2 years he was there.. I'm so sorry your family had to loose him at such a young age. We will always have fond memories in our hearts. I will pray the peace of God that transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Sgt. Major touched the lives of many and was loved by many.

Carol and I send our condolence to Sharon and Steve's family. My heart aches at he passing this good man, SGM Steven Leach. Steve and I served together at Fort Jackson, SC. He was my SGM and I was the Director at the Army's Wheel Vehicle Mechanic School. We were a good team working together to ensure the Army's mechanic were trained and ready to execute the mission. We also shared a love for CB radios. While I was not ready to compete to level "John Deere" was at, we both loved the sport. I can see him now with his rig in his extended suburban; that thing could talk. I love this brother. I can remember his love for the Army and his family. Sharon trusted me to prepare his retirement video detailing his Army story. I was so proud of this warrior and wanted to do my very best to document his story as accurately as possible. His approval at his retirement confirmed to me that he loved it.
Thanks you Brother. We spoke this past January, and we will see one another in Heaven.
