STEVEN LOOPE Obituary
GREENSBORO — Mr. Steven (Steve) Michael Loope, of Tower Road, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 23, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26 at Cornerstone Baptist Church where he was a member. A reception with the family will immediately follow the service in the fellowship hall.
He was born in Courtland, New York on January 25, 1958, son of richard N and Norma Loope. He was previously employed with Greensboro Auto Parts, Winn Dixie Stores, and Cornerstone Baptist Church. Steve was saved by the grace of God and baptized on February 2, 2003. Through all his struggles, he kept his faith.
Steve was preceded in death by his father Richard N. Loope. Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Norma Kenrick of the home; sister Cynthia L. Hupper of San Diego, CA; and three brothers, Robert T. Loope of Greensboro; David A. and Gary M. Loope of Minoa, NY. He is also survived by one niece and five nephews.
The family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 5736 Inman Road, Greensboro, NC 27410; or to the charity of one's choice.
