I met Steve in 2009 through my association with the Boulder Rifle Club. I immediately felt a kinship and we soon developed a close friendship. I worked closely with him, as a Vice President, then Secretary on the BRC Board of Directors. I enjoyed his sardonic humor (I share a similar attitude) and admired and was inspired by his intensity as BRC President. We shared many interests. I value the time I had with Steve, and my life is better for knowing him.

Dear Margie, We are so very sorry that Steve has passed. He could be so funny at times. We had many laughs through the years. I remember talking in a restaurant about Medicare and testing us old people for memory loss. We thought we might get kicked out for being so rowdy. We also enjoyed your visit to Costa Rica especially the silly horn on the car. I can´t use a carving knife without thinking about Steve and his gift of sharpening our knives and that a dull knife is so dangerous. RIP. Steve

Dear Margie, So sorry for your loss. Steve was always a very interesting person. Very intelligent, and sometimes down right silly. I always enjoyed his company. The best part, a highlight of my life, was when Steve, Margie and Olive came to visit us, in March for Steves Bday. You all drove to Gardner for a get away. Always with GOOD food to consume and sweet treats and many smiles and joy. Steve would entertain us with his new electronic device. We would laugh and laugh. I could go on and on but I won't.
He meant allot to us. He will be missed. We love him dearly.
I have a hanging lamp that Steve hung and electrified, the last time you all were here. When I look at it, I always think of you Steve. Enjoy your New Wings.
