Steve, as we flew our last trip at Evergreen together, I remember how much fun it was! I am glad I got to connect with you again a few times over the last year. It was great to see you. Rest in peace.

Roy and I enjoyed going on patrol with Steve. We all miss him very much. He was a very good friend to all of us. We enjoyed having a drink at the back of the house at other times. Steve always had good stories to tell us. We liked going out on the night helicopter operation where we were the safety boat and other times just going to marker Charley at night just to stand by with no other boats out on the water. We were always ready to respond to any call from the Coast Guard Base.

Captain Miller, Was a one "of-a-kind"! Very few folks, that I knew, commanded the attentation and admiration of Steve. He was a classmate of mine at Eastern and a wonderful person. May his sole rest in pease.
