I often find myself returning to this now & then... Not even exactly sure why.
Who wouldve thought ten years ago today would be my last time with you. An entire decade has passed & there isnt a day that goes by where Im not wishing I was watching your cowboy shows with you, asking you a million times who the good guys and who the bad guys were or sharing a king size Milky Way with you. Thank you for the best 10 years of life before you decided to leave this world. I love you and miss you so much dad.

All I can say is how Very, Very Saddened my Family and I were today the eve before the New Year to hear of this very Tragic Loss!!! I can't express the overwhelming sorrow I feel tonight for Steve and Darya and most of all his Children!

We are so sorry to learn of your loss. Steve will be greatly missed by our family. He was an excellent man and a great baseball coach! Steve touched every child on the team and no doubt he will be watching us play next Spring. The first pitch is for you Steve!

My memories of Steve are of days gone by. Of Wendy, Steve and Mike acting up riding in the back of the station wagon. Your dad would say "Do you want my hand to do the talking?" Of me babysitting you and hearing "You ain't my boss!" And y'all coming to Almora to visit Gramma and me. She'd have donuts ready and you'd have one on each finger. I miss those happier days.

My sincere condolences go out to the Nyberg family. I knew Steve from the years I lived in SLP and stayed in the Pavey's home. His brother Mike was a very good friend of mine and my thoughts are with him and his family today.

The memories I have of you dear brother are treasures in my heart. I loved you so and will miss you dearly!!
