TROY — Steven Mark "Steve" Peck, 33, of Troy passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014. Born December 15, 1980 in Dayton, OH to Gary M. Peck and Nancy {Hawk} Peck. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Peck, Christiansburg, OH, father, Gary M. (Linda) Peck, Huber Heights, OH, wife, Rachel {Alman} Peck, Troy, OH, daughters, Maddison and Gwendolyn Peck and step-daughter, Katherine Dunne, sister, Jennifer (Scott) McWhinney, London, OH, nephews and niece, Zachary, Aiden and Emma McWhinney. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Betty Hawk, Tipp City, Marie Peck, Huber Heights, OH, special uncles, Gary (Barb) Hawk, Xenia, OH, Roger (Lisa) Hawk, Mike (Cherie) Hawk and special aunt Bev Bevan all of Tipp City, along with cousins, Dusty (Amby) Hawk, Wes (Amber) Hawk, Mike Bevan and Chrisy (Carl) Southworth. He is preceded in death by his nephew, Noah McWhinney.
Steve was a 1999 graduate of Milton Union High School, a member of the Moose Lodge in Troy and the Troy Fish and Game Club. He was also a graduate of the School of New Approach, a certified Bench Jeweler, trained and certified in Revo Comprehension and Gem vision, Advanced Matrix trained and certified and a member of the Jewelers of America. Steve was employed by Harris Jewelers, Troy, OH as a jewelry designer
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, Pastor Bill Willoughby officiating, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. To my Friend and to the little brother i never had yet all times we have had : good old HONDA days !! mister quality control lol yet even through thick & thin you were and are and always will be A GreAT Friend I Pray and know that up in heaven you'll always remember Scotty and the good times : the time with our licences ; card games the waiting ( you know ) talk's weve had my Brother !! The food and beer we have shared at bws and the conversations and the more than friendship we've shared in the parking lot !! ; behind harris jewerlers with Tears in my eye's Will Always Be Missed !!!!!
