It is with deep sadness we are hearing of the loss of Dr. Steve. We always begin or planning for annual physicals at this time and the news of his cancer was difficult to hear.
Please know Dr. Steve has helped raise two lovely children who - to this day - remember and follow his advice about eating, having healthy habits, physical activity and friendships. It can be challenging to monitor the health of your children but with Dr. Steve there were never any issues. From infancy through high school, Dr. Steve brought comfort and assurance to one very grateful parent.
My condolences to Dr. Steve's wife and family. I can only imagine your loss but know his gracious presence will be missed. Debra Bryson and Kyle Bryson.

Our kids are grown now, almost 27, 24 and 20, so we don't visit CCP as much. I'm so sorry to learn of Dr. Steve's passing. We loved his thoughtful and patient nature, his intelligence and sense of humor. We're grateful that he was always so comforting, never rushed and willing to go the extra mile for our daughter with special needs. What a special human being. RIP.

I just called for my 19 year old daughter's annual appointment and learned of Dr. Perry's passing. We are so very sorry. I am crying as I am writing this.
I had breast cancer about 6 years ago and remember Dr Perry's genuine concern and reassuring words.
My sons, 22 and 24 years old, were so disappointed they were too old to continue seeing Dr. Perry due to insurance. They would say "Dr Perry is so cool"
We have never met a more compassionate doctor! We will miss him so very much and may he rest in peace.
Our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

I just learned of Dr Steve's passing. He was a wonderful pediatrician, my boys loved him. He was so caring, and we'll remember him fondly. Deepest condolences to his family & close friends.

Steve was the most wonderful pediatrician a mom could ever hope to have for her children. His kindness, patience, knowledge, and caring were unparalleled. My children loved going to see him and always felt the benefit of his special gift, whether they were sick and needed healing, or just the reassurance that they were "perfect". There are so many instances I could share. We are so sorry for your loss and for the loss of such a beautiful soul. We will always be grateful for Steve's grace and presence in our lives. Just read about Steve's passing in AAP News.
So saddened by this loss.
I had the pleasure and honor to train alongside Steve during our residency at Baylor College of Medicine.
He was an excellent pediatrician and an even better person.

I have never met such an amazing human being and best pediatrician any parents could ask for. Sweetest man/doctor. My girls though they were teenagers always looked forward to their physical with Dr. Perry. Made them feel so comfortable. I will never forget when he said I realized I wanted to be a pediatrician in high school. All the hard work you are doing now is the same you will do later going into medicine. Won't be harder, just will be more of it, he told my daughter that wants to be a doctor. Thanks Steve for being yourself! Rest in peace

Steve was an extraordinary person and a wonderful pediatrician. He was always interested in participating in research to improve care for children, despite how busy he was as a practitioner. He always went above and beyond.

Steve was a very special remarkable person. I first got to know Steve many years ago when he first came to Denver and we worked together launching the Warren Village medical student clinic. He had a wonderful way with medical students- supportive and guiding but also demanding of excellence. I always admired so much his empathy for colleagues, students, children, and their parents. He was one of the most caring and compassionate pediatricians I ever met. He created a wonderful legacy that will live on through his family, friends and colleagues. We will all miss him greatly. My doctor told me when I was pregnant with my twins that Dr. Perry was the best in town. I remember walking into his office with my newborn twins and quickly realized my doctor was right! Dr. Perry has been our family pediatrician for the past 10 years. My children were always excited to see him and he was always friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring. Thank you Dr. Perry. We will miss you greatly.

Somehow it feels like we have lost a member of our family. Dr Steve was there for all of us through the ups and downs of raising a child. He kept my kids healthy and me sane. The world has lost not only a true gem of a human being but one of the best pediatricians on this earth. My heart goes out to his wife and family. He will be missed so very deeply.

My heart sank and I was so saddened to hear of Steve's passing. Steve was such a kind and compassionate person. I had the fortunate opportunity to get to know him over the past few years when we were both at pediatric meetings/conferences. Steve always made you feel as if you were the only person in the room. He was so genuine and friendly. He was a dedicated pediatrician who will be missed terribly by all of us in pediatrics. He was such an exceptional person. Forever remembered; forever missed. My deepest sympathy to Steve's family.
