Steven RAWCLIFFE Obituary

It is with sadness, grief, shock and a deep sense of loss, the family of Steven Anthony Rawcliffe mourn his passing while on vacation in Mexico on Monday, June 3, 2013. Steve leaves his soul-mate, best friend and beloved wife Maaike; sons Beckham and Keegan; and daughter Ella-Jet to mourn his sudden passing. Steve's parents Beverley and Steven; sisters Serena Shaw (Graham), Anya Stang (Colin), brother Robert (Nina) and many nieces and nephews are grief stricken at the loss of a dearly loved son and brother. Maaike's parents Terry and Maaike Seaward; brothers Nathan (Katherine), Cyril (Debra), Mathew; sister Megan Burgos (Gabriel) are also devastated at Steve's untimely death. Countless friends and colleagues from Ricoh Canada join his family in grief and deep sorrow. For those wishing to contribute, a trust fund for their children's education will be set up. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Cochrane Chapel (369 Railway Street, Cochrane), on Monday, June 10, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Prayers and Tributes will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cochrane (10 River Heights Drive). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cochrane (10 River Heights Drive) on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Cochrane Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Steve Rawcliffe, a tree will be planted at Big Hill Springs in Cochrane.

It has been a long time since Steve and I (and the Rawcliffe family) were the 'neighbourhood kids' and soccer teammates back in St. Albert. Steve was a good friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
