Rabbi Saltzman was a wonderful man with a good heart. He truly cared about people. He took me under his wing ten years ago and guided me through my conversion process. He listened and supported me as I told him about our struggles with my fiancé having health issues and having several surgeries. It was tough but Rabbi Saltzman helped me through those times with his positive outlook and kind words. My sincere condolences to Rabbi Saltzman's family. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. There will be a huge void at the synagogue now with his passing. He was a remarkable man.

Rabbi Saltzman was a true inspiration. There was not a sermon he delivered where I did not learn something new. He had that gift. Most of all, he was a mensch. A brilliant mensch. My condolences to his loving family.
