Some are content to flow gently from their source to the resting place, like a meandering stream, pooling here and there, feeding flowers, providing succor and sustenance and arriving, appreciated and loved... And missed! Steve was more the roaring river with waterfalls at strategic places, powerful and beautiful, committed to changing the environment around him, and we would notice when he entered the room! And we notice with regret when he leaves, even with our memories filling the ocean he left behind! God bless you and yours Dee and Ed.

My thoughts and prayers go out today to Steve's family. I had long admired Steve's skating watching him at nationals, but then I got to meet and talk to him through our connections in the workplace safety world. He will always be an amazing man to me. Rest in peace.

Two beautiful, young individuals so full of life. God has two new Angels! Sending prayers and hope Steve's family and friends can find peace and healing, as my family deals with our own loss.

I was so shocked by his sudden death. I met Steve at Towson Dance Studio in a group lesson. He's a very nice man, funny, and down to earth. I was always happy when Steve was at the Saturday dancing party at TDS. He's a great dancer and fun to dance with. Now, he's gone. I can't believe I would never see him on the dance floor again. I'm so deeply saddened by his passing. I will always remember you, Steve. I miss you. Rest in Peace. My thoughts and prayers also go out to his family.

It was a pleasure to get to know you: an athlete that I admired and looked up to - always a touch of class on wheels!
I was glad to reconnect so many years later and to have the pleasure of the ‘kick' you got from posting my photo collection from our old skating days at Putty Hill.
In the end, people don't really die because they're never really forgotten.
Have a safe trip buddy!

Wow, we (Mom & I), are truly shocked to hear of your passing. My father was so proud of you & your talent. You were one of my adopted big brothers, who treated me more like a little sister then my half brothers ever did. My only regret of knowing you is that we moved away when I was 10 & never got to know you as an adult. Tell my dad hi for us & take a few more lessons from him to keep him busy.
