Sam, Jake and Josh miss the calls from the Thanksgiving turkey, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and all the other crazy people you used to try to trick them with. The crazy thing was is they used to believe these people or things were calling them. They sure miss their jokster uncle Steve. Sam thinks you should receive sainthood!! I wish I could hear "what's up" one more time.

Miss you so much,

Sam, Jake & Josh

We miss you every day. We will always remember all your jokes & teasing. Dad misses talking sports with you. Brenda really misses your almost daily phone calls to her. Bonnie misses talking about the stock market and your excitement talking about your nieces, nephews & grandkids (Jennifer, Kristen, Sam, Jake, Josh, Mariah, Hunter & Logan). I know you just loved all the phases of the kids' lives! Linda misses hearing from you and sharing all the news from "out East". Its been a year and we all still miss you every day!!

Our only comfort is that you are with Mom!!

Lots of love,

Dad, Linda, Bonnie & Brenda

To the entire Swanson family,

I am writing to say that I have such fond memories of Steve. He had such a good sense of humor and always made me laugh when we would come to Pine City to visit. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God Bless.

To the entire Swanson family,

My heart and prayers go out to each of you. My beloved cousin was an inspiration to all of us. He defied the odds so many times. I know it feels like he didn't have enough time with you, but don't forget to feel blessed to have had him in your lives for as long as you did.

May God bless you all.

Bonnie & Brenda-

So sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. My heart goes out to you and your famiy. It is always tragic when someone goes before we are ready for them to leave. I know how the children at Hugo are all thinking of you and your family in this time of need. Children in Sam's Class were told about Sam's Uncle and asked many questions and many said kind words. you have always given your heart to the Students of Hugo and they are just paying it forward to you. We love your family and we will be thinking of you in your time of need. Our prayers go out to you.

There was no one quite like Steve; he will be missed by all that knew him. And though this is a very difficult time, it's comforting to know that he is once again reunited with his dear mother Patty, and she with him. We will all miss him, and share deeply in your loss.

Swanny - What an inspiration for life. Kind and gentle natured. Always had a smile. We were grateful for spending time on the St. Croix River with Val and Steve last summer at the Piha wedding. We have great memories!

I was so sorry to hear about Steven, but so grateful that I did get to see him this summer at the Piha wedding. He was a great guy and such a fighter! I'm sure he will be missed by each and everyone of you. Take care of yourselves and believe that Patty was there to greet him home.
