Steven Tinoco Obituary
Steven Ray Tinoco of Victorville, California passed away on Sunday, 19 October 2014 at the age of 61. Steven was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 26 1953, and moved to Ontario California in 1958. He attended Chaffey High School then joined the Marine Corps in 1970, attaining the rank of sergeant. After his honorable discharge from the military in 1973, he entered the trucing industry as a long haul driver for over 27 years. He retired from the Western Metal Service after 23 years of service. He moved to Victorville in 1993 and purchased a home. Steve married the girl of this dreams, Andrea R. Tinoco, and their marriage lasted 27 years until her passing in 2006. He is survived by his parents, Jesse and Mary Martinez of Victorville, daughters Christine Lara and Sara Rivera, brothers Adrian Martinez, Mark Martinez, Greg Martinez and sister Debra Martinez, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Road King was an avid Harley Davidson rider and motorcycle club member. He was a loyal San Francisco Forty Niner fan and attended many of their games.

Cuz, as I sit here thinking of All the memories we had. I'm so blessed to have shared so many. THANK YOU!! You will be miss more than you think.. But like they say, "out of sight but never out of mind!!" You hold a special place in my heart. We had a bond that can't be broken. I'm sure you were greeted with so many open arms, waiting to give you hugs and kisses and I can see that smile we ALL Loved to see.. Until we reunite. From our many trips to the Harley Davidson stores to just having lunch together I will truly miss. You are and will always be the best poppy anyone could have had. I would give anything to hear your laugh just one last time. Your free spirit, big smile, and jokes are something you left behind for everyone to remember, anyone who knew you is lucky to have had you in their life. It is very hard to accept the fact that you are not here with us anymore but to know you are not suffering a second longer makes me happy. Give Grammy a hug and kiss for me up there. I love you very much and will forever miss you!

To my life long friend Christy my condolences to you and your entire family. I have many great memories with you,Steve,and your beautiful mom Andrea! I remember staying at your house up all night laughing like always... Lol.. One night we were in the kitchen laughing like usual and Steve came out in his birthday suit and told us to shut up and go to sleep...lol.. I think from that night on we never went to the kitchen in the middle of the night. That's just one of the many memories that Christy and I laugh about.

I am proud to have had the privilege of meeting Courtney's Papi. The few times I talked with him we spoke about his times in the Corps. You could see how proud he was about his time in the service. From one veteran to another it was an honor and thank you for all you did for our great country. To the Lara family and the rest of his family my deepest condolences.

Poppy, the memories we shared are countless. I can't put into words how much I will miss you and I could never fully express my love for you. I will miss that famous smile everyone talks about, and your sneaky lil' laugh. I will have to try not to be so stubborn anymore, because without you I have no one to back me up! I will miss our yearly birthday cakes, you bringing us tequila rose, and even our rescue missions to get you home safely. I will always feel that I am the boss because of you.
