Steven Weber Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jan. 11 to Jan. 14, 2024.
Oxnard - Steven Clark Weber, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2023, at his home in Oxnard, California, at the age of 69. Steve's warm presence touched the lives of many, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife Rosemary, devoted son Richard, caring brothers Brad Russell, Jeffrey Scott, Mitchell Todd, sisters Kimarie Carol, Lauren Patricia, Amy Elizabeth, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Ann, father Edward Vincent Sr., stepmother Joylyn June, brother Edward (Vincent) Jr., and daughter Tina Levis.

Steve was born on October 14, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Edward Vincent Weber Sr. and Patricia Ann Weber. On October 3, 1981, he married the love of his life, Rosemary, in Oxnard, California.

He dedicated himself to his business, serving as the owner/operator of Mov-Aire Refrigeration from May 5, 1978, until his passing. His service to the country spanned from 1972 to 1976, as a proud member of the US Navy Seabees. Steve's commitment to God, his country, and his community was evident through his active involvement in the American Legion, where he held numerous positions at Post #48. He was also a member and officer in the American Legion of his local Post #48 Oxnard, District 16, California American Legion and American Legion Riders. Steve's love for music and people showed through his favorite hobby of being "Mr. DJ" wherever he was asked to play for a large variety of events. He was very active in coaching and supporting the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and Little League Baseball organizations. Steve's affable nature meant he never met a stranger; his kindness and charisma endeared him to all.

A Celebration of Steve's Life is scheduled for January 27,2024, at 1200 hours at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7679, located at 3801 Market Street, Ventura, CA 93003. All who were touched by Steve's life are welcome to attend and honor his memory. ln lieu of flowers please help support our veterans, servicemembers and their families through our local veteran associations who were dear to Steve's heart.

Steve will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his unwavering love, boundless generosity, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
