Willette, Steven C. 61, of Chanhassen. Spent many years as a Deputy Sheriff and Special Agent. Founder of Lakeshore Equipment Company in Chanhassen, he was an outdoorsman and horse showman, loving father and grandfather, who faithfully served the Lord. Preceded in death by grandson, Henry Koop. Survived by children, Molly (Brendan) Koop, Nathan (Windi) Willette, and Beth (Derek) Anderson; 14 grandchildren; parents, Kerry & Betty Willette; sisters, Terry Kraft, Karen (Tom) O'Neal and Nancy Willette; nieces & nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 8201 Main St., Chanhassen. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at church. So surprised and saddened to read of Steve's passing. Have so many memories of his childhood, living next to the family in St. Louis Park for many years. Sending love and prayers to all of the Willettes

Dear Willette Family,
I was so sorry to read of Steven's death. I have so many wonderful memories of your family from when we were next door neighbors and friends in St. Louis Park many years ago. A favorite memory of "Stevie" was when he came to our house one afternoon and asked my Father if he would like to buy some worms for fishing. When Dad replied yes, Stevie took off his shoes and they were both stuffed with dirt and worms! What an adorable little boy! You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
