Stevie Cole Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 6, 2025.
Stevie Jean Cole, affectionately known as "Stevie Jean Jelly Bean," left this world just as she came into it, surrounded by love. Stevie lived a life full of passion, laughter, and fearless curiosity. Her adventurous spirit and radiant energy left an unforgettable mark on everyone she met. She had a heart that welcomed all and a soul that sought joy and connection in every moment.

Stevie was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Shayne Story LeRoyce Shoemaker, who was the light of her life and her proudest accomplishment. She shared a deep bond with her mother, Tiffany Anderson, and found endless love and guidance from her grandmother, Carol King, and her grandfather, Steve Lynch. Stevie will also be lovingly remembered by her sister, Nicole Minter, along with countless friends and extended family who were touched by her kindness, laughter, and free spirit.

A celebration of Stevie's life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, beginning at noon at 3765 County Road 1007, Glen Rose, TX 76043. A special send-off will take place at 2:00 p.m., followed by a full day of remembrance, stories, food, and music - a true reflection of the way Stevie lived her life. All who knew and loved her are welcome to join in honoring her memory.

Stevie's light continues to shine through her son, her family, and the many hearts she touched. Though her time here was far too short, her love, laughter, and fearless spirit will forever live on.

Stevie and I met when we were both feeling like aliens in Denton High School. She and I connected instantly and were inseparable from then on. She gave me love and family during a difficult time in my youth. Our story is a long one but the keynotes are this; we loved one another big, found big trouble together, healed loudly together, sang off tune and careless, danced into sunsets, dreamed the biggest, were successful even when the world bet against us. When we had nothing, she found something to give. Knocked down, we always found a way to rise again. She had a heart of gold and the kind of beauty that transcends beyond anything physical.
