1953-2011 Stuart Blair Wood "Adeena" (Gentle Spirit) of Mazerolle Settlement, NB, partner of Brenda Grant, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, NS. Born on February 16, 1953 in Montreal, QC., son of Lorna (Craig) Wood and the late Browning Wood. Stuart enjoyed family, writing poetry, music, long walks in the woods with his two beloved dogs, Wolfie and Tugger; he had a special place in his heart for all animals. He will be greatly missed by so many. In addition to Brenda and his loving Mom, Stu will also be so missed by his daughter Tanya Swain (Derrick); step daughter Lori McAleer-Mitchell (Rob); grandsons Jaziah and Darius; granddaughter Kierstyn; sister Shirley Ann Wood (Lloyd),brother Larry of Toronto, ON; and many adoring nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Beside his Dad, Stu was predeceased by his brother Donnie. Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 3 at 11 am to be followed by a memorial service at 12 pm at SouthWest United Church, 1445 Clémenceau St. Verdun (Crawford Park) H4H 2R2 Reverend David Lefnesky will be officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to paradisestableshorserescue.webs.com or at any animal charity of the donor's choice.

Stuart was one of my best freinds growing up. I have not seen him in years but we had a lot of good times together
Ian, Gaetan, Charlie Etc..... It is very true how much he loved animals as i remember how much he loved his dog Pinky 35 or more years ago. He was a good human being.
