Sue Dillard

My mother adored Martha Sue Stubbs Dillard. One of the original "dirty five", she was a wonderful person. I'm so glad that Mary Jean Douthitt (another member) and I were able to visit with her last year. My heartfelt sympathy to all of the family.

Sue and Bill Dillard were two of the finest people I've known and they are missed terribly. They set a standard for selflessness, compassion, caring, and class that is only seldom met. They both added a lot to the people they touched.

What a beautiful, kind woman Sue was! I feel blessed to have known her and am honored that my parents named me after her. She will be missed so very much. I hope that your wonderful memories of her will help you through such a difficult time. My thoughts are with you all.

Sue Dillard was my forever role model. She was the ultimate iron hand in the velvet glove. Her faith sustained her through great losses, and I'm sure made God smile. I'll always miss her!

Mrs. Dillard. You were style and grace and all who knew you are better for it.

Mrs. Dillard was one of the most gracious and poised women I have ever known, and she passed all those wonderful qualities on to her daughter Susan. I send my deepest sympathy to all your family and friends.

I have nothing but good memories of Big mama. I love her and I thank her for the oportunity she gave me of sharing one full year of my life with "the Dillard family" fourty years ago. I love you mom!
