Sue C. LeClair

Sue (Careb) LeClair, 80, of Burlington, widow of Gerald 'Jerry' LeClair passed away peacefully on Monday (October 31, 2022) in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Sue was born in Bristol on February 27, 1942 to the late Sampson and Jennie (Solomon) Careb. Sue was raised and lived in Bristol where she graduated from Bristol High School. She worked for SNET/AT&T for 42 years before retiring. A Burlington resident since 1998, she was a member of the First Congregational Church in Bristol. Sue is survived by a daughter: Sheila Conticello and her husband Glenn of Burlington; a son: Mark LeClair and his wife Gerrilyn of Winchester; her grandchildren she adored: Jennifer Hinrichs and husband Joshua, Joseph and Julia Sue Conticello; great-granddaughter: Alaina; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son and Mark's twin: Gerald 'Jay' LeClair; and her three siblings: Albert "Bebs" Careb, Elmer Careb, and Jean Careb. Funeral services will be held on Friday (November 4, 2022) at 11 AM at the First Congregational Church, 31 Maple St., Bristol. Burial will follow in Peacedale Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours.
