Kenny, Kenny Ray & Gretchen,
Just wanted to let you know that I am still thinking of you every day and praying that God will give you grace to make it through - one day at a time - until we all meet on the other side where the Saviour will wipe the tears from our eyes. Love You!!

Kenny - I must tell you that my favorite memory of Sue is and always will be the following. When I really didn't know you guys very well. You were getting ready for an auction in the Martin Bldg and I was getting ready for a big dinner party. One of my passions is dishes and I ran in to see if you would have any "Butter Pats" - when Sue said, "Oh we never have them because I take them." I laughed and gave her a bad time. The next day you stopped by and brought me a huge bag of them for my dinner party. I will never forget what a great feeling that was to have someone that was so thoughtful and I didn't even know her hardly at all. We had not lived here very long at all and what a nice gesture. It just reinforced my love of this area and how glad I was that we had retired here.

Kenny & family: I am sorry I am so late in sending my sympathies. My heart & prayers are with you during this time of adjustment without your partner, mother, and grandmother. In reading all the entries of this guest book... my what a wonderful legacy she has left on this old world. Sue is in a much better place now and has no pain or suffering. I have never forgotten the early years at Mt. Tabor, nor will I in the future. God will take care of you.

Brother Kenny,
I am so sad that you have lost your best friend and your only love for so very long. I always felt love and kindness from her when I went to school so long ago. She blessed my life and helped me in so many ways. Thank you for sharing her with so many children, she was a blessing. Give my love to Gretchen and her family. I am so very sorry for your loss, she was a treasure and her memory always will be a treasure.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Dear Kenny McGrew Family: I always admired Miss Sue's pleasant, professional patience at that hectic desk at the Happy John Building. It just won't be the same without her. We just heard of your loss today and were so saddened for those of us left in this world. I can just see her sitting at the Pearly Gates, helping look up names in the Book of Life! She would be so kind and patient. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. You will always miss her in this world but the pain gets a little more dull as time goes by. Our comfort comes from knowing her healing and joy in being with Jesus. love always, Beth and Buddy Maxey
