I knew Sue for over 12 years since I became the Office Manager at Carroll County Social Services. We went on several trips together and even roomed together in Richmond once. Sue was very sweet and a wonderful Christian example. She loved her family. She will be missed by all of us in the Department of Social Services.

I didn't get to know Sue very well before she retired, but from the time I did spend with her, she seemed to be a truly caring person. My mother recently passed away from cancer, so I know how devasting it can be. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time.

Sorry to hear that Sue has passed away. She fought a long and couragous battle, and now is no longer suffering. My condolences to the entire family. My sister Opal kept me updated on Sue's condition, and I will always remember that she sang in church choir when my Mom and Dad both passed away. She cried as we cried.
