Wetumpka - Sue Ann Robertson, age 74, of Wetumpka, AL passed away on January 15th, 2024. She was born in Hartselle, AL on April 1st, 1949 to Joe Henry Reid, Sr and Lois Movilee Hill Reid. She graduated Morgan County High School in 1967. She got her Graduates Degree from the University of Alabama and her Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech. She retired from ADEM after many years as a Division Chief. Sue loved gardening and became a Master Gardener in Elmore County. She passed down her love of the environment and gardening to both of her granddaughters. Sue also loved animals and would often drop off donations to the Elmore County Shelter.

Sue is proceeded in death by her father, Joe Henry Reid, Sr., her mother, Lois Movilee Hill Reid, her brothers, Joe Reid, Jr. and Jackie Reid and her niece, Charlotte Reid.

Sue is survived by her loving husband, Lanny Robertson; son, Stephen Robertson(Krystal Gay); granddaughters, Carlee and Jordyn Robertson; sister, Jana Terry(Mike); nephews, Christopher and Spencer Terry and families; niece, Jodie Kimmerly and her aunt and uncle, Avis and Rassie Wallace.

The family has chosen to hold a private memorial that will take place at a later date. If you would like to honor Sue's memory, please do so by making a donation in her name to one of the following organizations that were dear to her:
