Susan Barnard

I knew Susan when we were skinny kids in high school in Montreal West and used to go on bicycle trips, rock collecting trips, and family picnics together, and rediscovered her thanks to a High School reunion about 10 years ago, leading to occasional in person visits. Her positive and always kind attitude was evident in those far away days, as it was 60 years later. I will always have fond memories of those early times, and my condolences go to Scott and Mark whom I have only met a few times, and to Jamie whom I have not met. They will miss her terribly.

What an honor it was to know such a beautiful lady. Susan had a
sweet smile for everyone she touched and always held out a gracious helping hand to those in need. My deepest sympathy to dear Scott, Mark and Jamie. Take care of each other and keep the happy memories of Susan close to your heart.

Susan was an amazing lady! She had endless love for her family and was incredibly generous with everyone. I worked with her in education and had the privilege of being Scott's teacher for 13 years. Susan was always learning and generously shared, and helped me to learn. She also made great lunches when I came to visit.
Sending big hugs to Scott - he will miss her so much - as will her beloved Mark and Jamie. Your Mom was wonderful!

I was blessed to have known Susan and family for many years, honored to have been chosen to do many household renovations. A joyful home to work in, everyone so kind and respectful, I thank you. What an amazing woman, honest, kind, fun, compassionate, giving, she represented all things good. I'm at comfort knowing Susan is now one of Gods angels looking down upon us. One of my son's best Christmas eves ever with Susan, Jay and Scott Barnard at their family home. Susan touched so many lives.

A wonderful mother and amazing and beautiful woman, Susan welcomed me with open arms as well as my children into her home on many occasions and holidays. She was a great friend and role model to me. I am a better person for knowing her. She left this world better than she found it and I'm grateful for having known her. Her memory will live on in myself and my children. No words can express how sad this news is. My deepest sincere sympathies to Mark, Jamie and Scott. She was a wonderful lady who I am proud I got to know. She became a mother to be in so many ways. I will always remember our girl cross border shopping trips that may have been a day or weekend trip. Until we meet again. Love you forever.
