To Teddy and Teresa and family, please know that my husband Gary and I are thinking of you. Your mother was a lovely person, inside and out. I can still here her laugh. She laughed around me as I’d see her at St John’s and your brother John was one of my classmates all throughout elementary school. (Had to laugh and be happy around John!). So, be happy in the fact that your mom was a special person. I know you’ll miss her so.

So many wonderful memories with Susan, but what stands out is eating her Mother’s incredible food at the kitchen table. I was always treated like one of the family at her home. We had so much fun together, she certainly loved life. Rest n Peace sweet Susan, you will always live in my heart.

Dear Teresa,

I am so very sorry to have read about your Mom passing today. My heart is so heavy because you know I would have been at the funeral if I had known. Your Mom was a dear friend to me when I worked at Saks on the Plaza. I remember when I came out to see her at the home once where she was and visited with her and how happy she was to see me and you and your brother John was both there at that time also. My partner at the time came with me if you remember( Kevin Overstreet ) who knew your mom as well did hair in the Saks Salon .Susan and I shared lots of conversations about many things when at Saks. Please know that even though death takes our loved ones from us...Death will never take away the memories! She will always hold a special place in my heart.

Fondly,
Mr. Kim R. Wrench and Mr. Kevin Overstreet

If there was ever a person who got straight into heaven without having to answer for any mishaps it was my Nani. She was so kind and loving and dare I say perfect to all she knew. I love you Nani. Take care of my Dad please. Love Al

Susan was my mentor, and always in my heart and head, every time I would think something judgmental or unkind I would stop knowing its not the person she would want me to be. Everything good in me came from her.
She always told me “if you have God in your heart you will have everything you need.”
She will be missed by all.
Ted and Teresa I am praying that you will have the strength you need. I love you. You can lean on me.
Your mommas godchild, Aloha, Becky

I remember the first time I ever saw her. When she and Uncle John married, I thought she looked like a Hollywood movie star. And every time I visited her in K.C., I told her that she still looked like a Hollywood star to me! She was fun to be around. She did an amazing job of taking care of her kids when her husband John died. She and I shared many stories , especially about our children that died. We often talked on the phone, especially talked about our kids that died and I guess we consoled each other! She was always my favorite Aunt and I always told her that!
RIP Aunt Susan

The legacy Aunt Sue leaves us is one to live by. . .a life of kindness to all, deep faith, a joyful spirit and a love for family. Thanks, dear Aunt for these gifts. May this bring some consolation to Ted, Teresa, Marilynn and family.
