To all the family we offer our sincere condolences. We had the privilege of meeting Susan at the family home in Ottawa oh so long ago. We cam across the death notice while doing family history research. Again, so sorry! Eric & Denise Carre, Thornbury, ON

Our home at Forest Gate won't ever be the same without her delighted and welcoming greetings whenever we came in, compliments of "you're pretty", "I love you", "I got you!", and "ok, hotdog!". Sue was a delight to work with, and I was especially inspired to witness the strong family connections...that does not often happen. My warmest regards for Sue's family. Xxx

My condolences to Sue's family.
Rest in peace Suzie Q! I remember the time we listened to Abby in the van and you were singing "I believe in Angels". You have touched the hearts of soo many! I will never forget you!

I live on Southgate Road and Sue was my neighbour for a number of years. We rode the city bus together from time to time and I also saw Sue at the occasional social event at Rideau Park United Church. I remember her with a great deal of affection. I will never forget her characteristic "Hi, remember me?" hello, which always proved too great a temptation to pretend I did not remember her (as if anyone could forget Sue!. I enjoyed her hugs and her warmth. If anyone could make me laugh long and hard, it was Sue coming up with a priceless comment on something or somebody (such as her comment on her brother working with rats!) She was a big presence in the neigbourhood and the Group for Friends social events at Rideau Park Church. Please accept my sincerest sympathy. I am very sorry to hear of her passing.

So sorry to hear of your sister and aunt passing. I remember her from years ago and she was so sweet and smiley. May she rest in peace in heaven. Deb and Peter Slater and family.

Sincerest sympathies to Sue's loving family. I have such beautiful memories of Sue. When our "gambling girls" played Bridge Sue would hug me as I was the other "Norma". I also felt a special bond with her as she reminded me so much of my beloved younger Downs Syndrome sister in Ireland. Rest in peace darling Sue in the arms of your Mom and Dad.
