Susan Case-Ohka

SUSAN CASE-OHKA SEPT 26, 1951-DEC13, 2008 Susan Case-Ohka went to meet her heavenly Father on December 13th. Susan was born in Butte, Montana, to Charlene ''Chickee'' and Charles Case on September 26, 1951. Susan attended St John's Elementary School and graduated from Butte High School in 1969. After graduation Susan moved to Modesto, California and while working, pursued her dream of earning a college degree. She was working at Beyer High School when she received her BA in Business Administration from California State University. She earned a Master's of Science Degree in Taxation at Golden Gate University. Susan pursued a career as a certified public accountant working at Grimbleby Coleman, CPA's Inc. in 1985 and retired as a partner in 2001. Susan had a warm exuberance that drew people to her with her inner beauty, captivating smile, sparkling green eyes. Susan was known for having a heart of gold. Eric, the love of her life, was was born on August 17, 1990. Susan's best love was spending time at their Pine Mountain Lake home. Susan's other delight was visiting with her family in Coeur d'Alene. Susan clients were more than clients. They always became her friends. She married Tom Ohka in 1988 at Lake Tahoe. They resided in Modesto with their son Eric until 2005 when they retired in Genoa Lakes, Nevada. Susan was preceded in death by her father, Charles Case, and step-father Marvin Bolton. Susan is survived by her loving husband Tom in Genoa, Nevada, son Eric of Modesto, CA. Mother, Charlene Bolton, sister's and brother's in law; Sarahyl Konda-Pecha and William Pecha, Sharmon and Don Schmitt, and brother, Mike Case, all from Coeur d'Alene. Stepchildren; Genevieve Sanchez and Matthew Ohka of Chicago, Illinois. Susan also leaves behind numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Especially dear to her was her godfather, Carl Haining and her aunt Mary of Rosamond, California.
