Susan Marland Cochran

Dr. Cochran,
You may remember me. I was married to Dr. Thomas Blake. I met Susan once at a social gathering but did not really know her. From her obit I can see that she was a wonderful lady whom I know you will greatly miss. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your children at this sad time.

To the Cochran family--
I was saddened to learn of Susan's passing. She was bright, witty, and loving. She will be missed.

We are so very sorry to hear of this great (much too early) loss. We met Susan when she and Butch sponsored our son as a player for the Cottonmouths. We cannot express the depth of our appreciation for all they did for him. We then spent a short time with them when they came to the west coast and were "the best of sports" in our caravan from Banff to Vancouver!!!! She was an inspiration and all our son told us she was. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. She will be missed dearly.

I will always love and remember my college suite mate as a bright and beautiful young woman with a quick, irreverent sense of humor. Above all she was honest, and still compassionate. I was impressed with her sensitivity as a student teacher in New Orleans.
