Susan was a very close friend who came to work with me at UT Southwestern Medical School, Department of Psychiatry, in Dallas about October of 1976. We worked together for Crickett Hayden, Administrative Assistant, and Asa W. DeLoach, M. D. Acting Professor and Chairman, and later Kenneth Z. Altshuler, M. D. Professor and Chairman. She meant a great deal to my husband Nick and to me and was Godmother to our children, Kris and Annette Benedetto. We shared many significant and fun moments together until about 1983 or so.
I just dropped by tonight to say hello to her and found she had passed. She is now with Our Lord and the angels and perfect in body. She will be greatly missed.

I don't know if my words belong here, but I will take that chance, because my heart is broken, and it will never be completely mended as long as we are apart. To my Dear, Dear, Susan: You are the most wonderful person I will ever know; I miss you TERRIBLY! I will always love you with all my heart!

To me dear sweet Susan is a friend, a confidant, a sister. As time passes, the numerous daily reminders might diminish; I won't FEEL SURE I will hear her voice today. It's a rare honor to have a friend so trusting and so trusted. I have learned from her ... one can make the world a better place, without TRYING to.

Susan was a friend for many years. We loved to go to lunch and spend hours looking in shops. I worked with her at UTSW for a long time. She was a lovely person and her passing is such a loss. I will miss her.

Sukey was my best friend in elementary school and made me feel welcome when our family moved there. We had a blast together all of the time!! Sometimes getting in trouble! I so wish we had stayed connected when I moved away! I still use her name as my password sometimes!

Sukey was a very special part of our family. I will miss her dearly. I am glad she got to visit me in Cincinnati for my Grandmorhers milestone birthday. She was a very sweet and loving person. Julie Stevens (Cincinnati Oh)

I very much enjoyed sitting beside Susan every other week as we had our nails done in Carrollton. We shared many opinions, stories, and laughs. I appreciated her mischievous humor and her deep, loving kindness. I will certainly miss seeing Susan. Nail appointments won't be the same without her seated in the next chair. To her friends and family, I offer my sincere condolences. Much love goes out to you. Rest in peace, Susan.
