Oh, my God, I can´t believe this. I am saddened by this news about Susan.
Oh, Susan, you were such a wonderful person, a beautiful human being always offering your services, volunteering, just being there to help.
Our times together at PPCO. were just full of fun and laughter and music, of course.
I will miss you so dearly. You always called or texted Norman when he was ill, and you were there for me when he passed away. You will be missed by our store, yes, our store, PPCO., as we were like family there. Thanks for all the memories.
Good bye, Susan, my dear. Rest in peace, my dear friend, rest in eternity.

Much Love and Gratitude,

Socorro

So very sad to hear this news, but happy for Susan, who told me she wanted to die well, and so she has. Her memory will forever be as a blessing.

Susan was an incredible inspiration to me and many others. Her strength and devotion to so many causes are to be admired. She certainly is an example of a life well-lived. Her interests were widespread and her devotion to family and friends all over the world will never be forgotten. I feel so fortunate to have been part of her life and have her part of mine.

I first encountered Susan when I joined the Oakland East Bay Symphony board, where she was a dedicated volunteer. As we collaborated, our connection blossomed into a genuine friendship, often deepened over a glass of wine. One of our favorite traditions became visiting Urban Legend, a charming winery in Alameda. There, we embraced the warmth of the afternoons, savoring delicious wine and engaging conversations, all while admiring the stunning views of the San Francisco Bay and the vibrant city across the water. Those moments together were truly unforgettable. Susan fought the good fight, and I will miss her dearly.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Susan a few years ago, during the pandemic, when she decided to set up a cousins zoom call with her cousins and their kids. My Dad is a cousin, and I, at 59, am one of the kids. I learned so much about the Driscoll side of my family, and when she visited MN, I got to know Susan, and what an amazing person she is! I am so glad she took that trip a few years ago, all over the world to visit friends. A good life, well lived. Farewell cousin. Love, Melissa

Sara and Amy, this is a beautiful message of Susan, who she was and watch she was, a very beautiful and giving lady. Her charities are going to miss her, but they are grateful for all she gave. Her family and friends are going to have memories of her to remind us of what a great friend we all had.
Thank you

She led a Mastic movies group I have attended for several years. Even in her illness she stayed with us through March 2025. Always vibrant and engaged, with a million activities to report to us and recommend each month. She seemed much younger than her 80 years old. A life well lived.

Rest in peace, dear Susan. Help us face our present peril with the grace you showed in your own ordeal.

Reconnected with this close cousin only in recent years due to shared family ties in the region. Susan was always anxious to build these bridges and was effusive in expressing her love of the extended family. Her affection for music and theater was another common bond that she and I shared, and it will remain a cornerstone of my memories of her. Peace.
