Susan "Moon" Evasco

SUSAN PAULETTE EVASCO (AKA "MOON") Cedar Rapids 5/26/1952 - 1/25/2019 Susan Paulette Evasco (aka "Moon"), 66, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 25, 2019. Susan retired from Alliant Energy to pursue her great love of music, art, traveling and the building of her rock collection. She had a wonderful sense of humor and quick wit, with a great appreciation of what life had given her. She will be missed immensely by all who came into her life. Services are pending at Lincoln Memorial in Lincoln, Neb. Memorials can be sent to SAINT Rescue & Adoption Center in Cedar Rapids in Sue's honor. The family greatly appreciates the care and attention provided to Sue from the staff of the Heritage Nursing Center of Cedar Rapids. Special thanks to the two "Bright Stars" from the heavens, Rene and Nicole. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Ruth Evasco; sister, Rebecca Evasco; and brothers, John Sherwood Evasco and Nicky Evasco. She is survived by sister, Sonya Evasco of Holland; brothers, David (Kathleen) Evasco of Lincoln, Neb., Curt (Karen) Evasco of Lincoln, Guy (Becky) Evasco of Lincoln and Dan Evasco of Bellevue, Neb.; and many nieces and nephews.
