I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Jackie and I grew up as friends and classmates so I always looked up to Susan as the "all knowing big sister". What I remember best about her was her dry wit.

I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Sue at the Iowa Department of Personnel for several years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in your time of loss.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Although we've never met we are so sorry for your loss. Susan sounds like a wonder woman. Her Grandmother on her Father's side and my Mother were sisters. We were at Elsie's funeral so may have met there, but had moved to Arkansas when Alvin died. On one of our drives we happened to stop for pie in Rockport and Alvin and Elsie were there also. It was a nice surprise and we remember it each time we go thru Rockport on our way to Council Bluffs to visit family.

I hope the grandchildren always remember how she liked to play the kazoo for them, how sweet her smile was and how she cherished them.
She loved to talk about memories with her children as they were growing up and how much she enjoyed her life with them and with Stan.
