Susan Horeak Obituary
47, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on July 13, 2010 after a brave, yearlong battle with cancer. Susan was born and raised in Regina, Canada. She graduated from the University of Regina, and from Pacific University, Oregon in 1994 with her Doctorate in Optometry. She moved to Scottsdale, AZ and was married to Aseem Kumar in 1998. She practiced optometry for 15 years in Arizona. She is survived by Aseem Kumar, her brother Marcus Horeak, and father Alvin Horeak. She is predeceased by her mother, Lillian Horeak. A Memorial service will be held in Phoenix on July 24th at Samaritan Funeral Home from 10am-12pm. Please dress comfortably (non-formal). In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the American Cancer Society.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Susan's dad, Mark, Aseem and Susan's extended family.
Susan was a beautiful, smart, witty women who had a wonderful sense of humor. I always admired and will remember her determination and honesty. Then there was her love of shoes...
May our memories always bring a smile and may we take comfort in knowing she is in a better place.
I feel blessed to have known her.
