Susan Witten Hulick June 22, 1957 - November 27, 2008 Susan passed away peacefully at Saint Francis Hospice with husband Ray at her side. Born and raised in Honolulu, she was a graduate of Kalani High School, attended Menlo College and received her degree in Early Childhood Education from Chaminade University. She was a gifted educator who shared her passion for teaching at Calvary by the Sea, Montessori Community School, Hawai'i Kids at Work and Assets School. Susan was truly loved by her students and their families, Susan was active and spent her time enjoying the ocean, laughing with family and her many friends. Above all, Susan was a dedicated and loving mother and wife. Susan was truly inspirational, optimistically challenging breast cancer for eight courageous years. Susan is survived by her husband Ray, sons Wyatt and Cole, her father James T. Witten, sister Margot W. Johnson and brother Thomas S. Witten. Preceded in death by mother Marion B. Witten, and brothers Robert H. Witten and James W. Witten. SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH OF THE HOLY NATIVITY ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2008 AT 5 P.M. FAMILY FRIENDLY. ALOHA ATTIRE. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hanahau'oli Schools or Assets School, in honor of Susan Hulick. Updated on 12/11/2008.
