Susan O'Malley Lawless

Susan O'Malley Lawless (Norwood MA. and Mission Hill) passed peacefully with her family at her side on June 2, 2025.

Susan was married for 42 years to her loving husband Chris. Their two wonderful children Christopher and Catherine (Cat) reside in Brooklyn NY.

She leaves behind her Mother Kay O'Malley, siblings Bob - Framingham, Cathy -West Roxbury, Michael (Maria Lawless) -Norfolk; Bea Foley -West Roxbury, John (Edna Hay) -Roslindale; Stephen (Tricia Day) -Ipswich. Loving nieces and nephews are Ian, Caroline, Genevieve, Jillian, Johnny, Hannah, Nicholas O'Malley, Will and Violet Brennan; Childhood best friends Jeanne, Karen along with the "Dogs" and her loving In-laws are Elaine, Deidre, Richard, Megan, Jane.

Susan was pre-deceased by her father Robert (Jobby) O'Malley, Margaret and Peter Lawless and brothers in law Peter, Mark Lawless and John (Jack) Sullivan.

Susan worked at Children's Hospital, Dana Farber, Northeastern University, and Hurley Communications. She was involved in her Norwood Community and the Norwood High School Music program while her children played in the Orchestra.

Susan's fun personality was a magnet for others at all family or friend gatherings. Susan's generous spirit, her body was donated for medical research < Frank H. Netter School of Medicine>. A Celebration of her Life is planned later this month.
