Susan Little Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 20, 2025.
Susan Walker Little, age 76, of 1336 Stagecoach Road, the wife of the late George Michael Little, passed away peacefully at NHC in Laurens on October 19, 2025.

Born April 1, 1949, in Montgomery, AL, she was the daughter of the late Jack Edwin and Lena Mae Barrett Walker. With her birthday being April Fools' Day, Susan's family and friends enjoyed playing various pranks through the years.

A proud graduate of Auburn University, Susan was a former real estate agent with Palmetto Heritage, where she helped countless families find their dream homes. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to own a successful baking company. While not having a formal employee title, Susan's many strengths have helped the family business, AMT,

Inc., continue to grow and prosper.

Susan was a faithful member of Laurens First Baptist Church. She served as one of the first female deacons, faithful choir member, and wedding director. She was also the

first female finance chairman. Susan shared her love for children as the former kindergarten director.

Susan was full of life and loved to laugh! She was a professional at party planning and organizing fun getaways for her friends and her family. Susan was also famous for the

unique and funny gifts with which she surprised her family each Christmas.

Susan blessed so many with her generous spirit. She gave of herself and the resources with which God blessed her to help countless people in need.

She is survived by her three children, Craig Little (Cathy), Laura Little Taylor (Reid), and Ben Little (Leigh) all of Laurens; grandchildren, Canady, McKenzie, Kelsie, Dylan, Wyatt, Walker, and McCall; brother, Jackie Walker (Marguerite); nieces and nephews, Jason Walker (Marcia), Jared Walker (Kelli-Jo), and Kalan Walker Chester (Robby); sister-in-law, Pat MacDonald (Vic), and close family friend, Hattie Mae Franklin.

In addition to her parents and husband, Susan was predeceased by a brother, Tommy Walker.

The family will receive friends at Laurens First Baptist Church Family Life Center on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 in the church sanctuary, conducted by Rev. Adair Rogers and Rev. Tim Marsh. A private burial will be held in Westview Memorial Park.

The family will be at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Music Ministry, 300 West Main Street, Laurens, SC 29360; NHC of Laurens, 379 Pinehaven Street Ext., Laurens, SC 29360; or to the Williams Syndrome Association at www.williams-syndrome.org.
