Hi,

I met Susan in the early 60's and have many memories and stories. Her parents were a joy to be around as were her brothers. Met her husband years later and remember her dogs. I just found out about her passing and I feel so sad. I remember her like it was yesterday.
Anyone who wishes can contact me.

Susan was one of my best friends when we were kids. WE both went to St. Patricks and keep in contact through our high school years. We has some fun times especially at the school dances.
She always had a smile and friendly personality.
She will be greatly missed

I met Susie just about this time last year. I am an American Airlines flight attendant and was working a flight from New York to San Francisco. Susie and her husband were on board. Susie came to the galley during the flight to and we chatted for some time and got to know each other. She talked of her dogs and her love or horses. In a short time I felt like I knew her for years. She invited me to dinner at her and her husbands home on my next layover in San Francisco. We did email a couple of times, and I knew of her battle with cancer. This past summer I had emailed Susie a couple of times and didn't get a response. I regret I didn't get the chance to take her up on her dinner offer. I am so happy I was able to get to know Susie on that flight last year. She was delightful, so positive, and full of energy. God Bless you Susie and rest in peace. Tim Carey NY NY

I met Susie so many years ago that it seems like I knew her forever. We both flew for Northwest. I never in all my years of knowing her saw her in a bad mood,or heard her say something negative. She was always laughing and brought a smile into any room she entered. She was one of the most fun loving people I knew and you could always count on a good flight when she was there. Angel Wings around you Susie, I hope you know how much you were loved.

I shared a seat on the board of SFP Chapter of Calif Dressage Society with Susie. She was such huge supporter and volunteer for the organization. A great ambassador every day, and if she had a problem she would always come up with a solution. She had such a great sense of humor, and she always joked about how we were long lost sisters because we shared the same last name. I really liked her and the dressage world will miss her support and enthusiasm. Lot of love to her family and animals. May she rest peacefully and without pain.

I ran into Susie a couple years ago at The Horse Park at Woodside. Horse talk moved on to how she was doing. She informed me that she had retired from flying. She told me that she had been to recent training related to terrorist events on airplanes. She told me, as only Susie could, "Theresa, I worked for the airlines to fluff pillows and give out mints, I have no interest in learning how to stab a terrorist w/ a plastic fork so I decided it was time to retire..."

You always hope you can touch at least one person in a positive way. Susie did that for me and more. Susie welcomed me into her home and along with Allen made me feel like I was a part of their family. That's how they were. Susie, your spirit will always be with us!

I knew Susie for 40+ years since I became close friends with her brother John in the late 1960's. We met over those years mostly at Greco/Lombardi family parties. Since John's passing I have not seen her much, but I do remember that she was usually the life of the party, always told it like it was, and loved her family including nieces and nephews, her animals, her friends and Alan. She will be missed by many.

I am so sad to hear this. I loved her so much. Blessings to Alan and the pooches and to Allure and all the family. Her personality was as big as the sun. She will be missed by me. I am crying as I write this, and sad to hear the news while I am in Paris. I cannot attend the mass in SF, but know that I am sending prayers for our dear Susie.

Susie, I will remember all of our wonderful "horsie" times at GPS for the rest of my life. I am sure all of your dogs and horses are welcoming you now. You were always a little lady with a spine of steel (literally, thanks to Windfare). Alan, my thoughts are with you.

Love always

I knew Susan for many years, both as a fellow TD and friend. Many times she came to Utah to do a show for us, and I would come to California. Her sense of humor was delightful and I still repeat some of those wonderful stories about her experiences as a flight attendant!

Volker and I so loved Susan for her delightful, funny, kind, loving personality. We remember her huge contribution of herself to many many horse shows and events. They were always made better by her presence. She will be fondly remembered and missed by many.

Susie was a forece to be reckoned with ... her passion and enthusiasm never wavered. She could entertain a dinner table for hours with her hysterical stories. I was lucky to have been able to spend a little time with her at her beautiful home last month, such a special woman. I've never known anyone stronger than Susie. My heartfelt condolences, Allen.

Susie made quite an impression upon me and my two young daughters! She shared her beautiful Cocker Spaniels with them at the dressage shows and they loved her bright fashion and personality. I admired her dedication to the dressage world and know that heaven is a brighter place with her in it! All my best wishes and condolences to Allen and the family.

Susie dressed to the "9's" every day, every horse show, every time she walked out the front door. Susie was fun and made me laugh. I always enjoyed sitting with her at dressage shows and catching up. God Speed Susie.
