Susan was one of my favorite people. I’m sorry we lost touch and even sorrier she passed. I ran across a picture and that sent me searching only to find I missed her by 3 years. I can still hear her unique voice and laugh. Sending love.

I just found out that Susan had passed away. My sincere sympathy to Bob and her family. She was a wonderful woman and a dear friend. I worked with her at the Convention and Visitor Bureau. We had many adventures and memories. We went to Chicago, a trip to visit her family(I still make the lintel soup), even the couple nights I spent with her after eye surgery. Susan was a very special person. I feel blessed that was a part of my life. Rest in peace dear friend.

I am so sorry to read of Susan's passing. Our families were good friends with the Lows' in the 50's and 60's. Her family was very active in my Dad's church, St. Paul's UMC.

When Sue was about ten years old, Lois and Sue were in a minor car accident in front of Nelson Hall on campus. I lived two blocks away, and I was playing in front of the Old Main building. I heard the commotion and went near to observe. Before seatbelts, Sue hit the front dashboard, and her nose was broken.
Lois and John had signed my Bible at St. Paul's Methodist where they directed the Sunday School where Sue and I attended.
John and Lois and their four children were among the nicest people I knew in Stevens Point while I was growing up. Sue and I were in the same grade.
In June this year, I visited Sue and Bob at the Portage County home. When I reminded Sue of how she broke her nose when we were ten, she smiled and laughed. We had a wonderful time chatting about the long ago days in Stevens Point.
Sue was always one of the nicest and most popular people one could ever talk with. I am confident that the family shares many happy memories of their lives with Sue. Blessings on you all as you celebrate her life well lived, and too soon lost.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
