Susan is in our hearts and we send prayers for her family. We went to the family Joy of Life and meet so many loving family and friends. It was a very special day.

Hey sista, I know you can't imagine how much you are missed, and you also know i don't believe in writing to people who have already passed over but yet here I am. So often I think of something and want to call ya on the phone to tell you. Or when playing our game on Facebook I got use to talking back and forth thru messages or checking your score to see how much higher you were. We had such good times together even when I was so young and you were forced to bring me with you everywhere if you wanted to go out. Lol Going antique shopping, camping, road trip to Missouri, amusement parks,trick or treating, driving around to see how people decorated their house for Christmas, going to the auctions shopping, family bbq"s, taking care of mommy. Too many things to write. It didn't really matter what we did it was just us doing it together that was great. I could write you a book telling you about the fun that we've had, remembering the things that we did or talking abou the things we didn't get to do yet. I take you with me in my heart everywhere I go so your never far away. I knew it was going to be hard but not this hard so I will leave with telling you what I always told you when I left or hung up. I love you, sweet dreams , sleep well, and I'll see ya soon......

Aunt Susan was a Motherly woman. To her children, their friends, her nieces and nephews, her Grandkids and their friends, and later in life, to her own parents. She was a selfless woman. She gave a heart full of love and a sweet smile to any and all. Aunt Susan was my Godmother. She was there for my baptism, my Holy Communion and my Confirmation. I would spend weekends at the old farmhouse, and Summer breaks, and Winter breaks....and whenever my Mom needed a break. I remember taking walks and picking berries that she would later turn to jellies and jams. I remember the grilled cheese sandwiches and homemade tomato soup that she gave Joseph and I on a cold Winters day. I promptly told her, "Something is wrong with my soup, there's nothing in it, it's empty!". She looked at me, baffled! I remember watching old black and white Westerns after dinner. I remember trailing along to watch her practice the organ at the local Church. I remember how kept her home always was, with lacy white curtains, starched sheets and proper table settings. I had always thought she had an elegant, old fashioned sense. Aunt Susan gave love through her cooking. At every family event, we couldn't wait for "Aunt Susan's baked beans" and an array of other dishes. Her desserts were always the best. She was stern enough to put me in my place and understanding enough to explain why. She was silly and loved a good (and sometimes a bad!) joke. She had a great laugh. I got to hear her laugh a little when I spoke to her on Mother's Day while she was in the hospital. She told me not to weep, no sadness. She was a happy person that made you feel safe, warm and loved. She radiated joy and comfort. She brought a light to every life she touched. Not a day has passed that I haven't thought of her since that Mother's Day laugh I got to hear. I feel very lucky to have her crocheted blankets scattered throughout my house. Anytime I need an Aunt Susan hug, I can snuggle up and feel her wrapped around me. My heart and love is with the kids and Grandkids, my cousins, her sisters and brother. Aunt Susan will be missed greatly. I feel so lucky to have had her in my life.

My Aunt Susan is absolutely beautiful. She is so strong & so brave. Her smile, her laugh, & the love she gave to our family is remarkable. She is so loved & will be missed too much... She is with some of our other angels & i´d like to imagine that she is happy, she knows she was a fighter & she is reunited with the those angels. God opened his arms & welcomed her into heaven, she is still with us & will always be in our hearts. We wonder, why? Then, i remember... If there´s a garden full of flowers, God chooses the most beautiful one. Rest in the sweetest piece Aunt Susan, i love you so much.
