Dee,Chris,Jason- I have known you boys and your mother for years, and my heart broke for your family when I heard of the news,your mother was a wonderful woman, who loved her boys!
She did a wonderful job raising you boys by herself.I always admired her for that. Now she is with Jesus, and one day we will all be together again. I love you boys, and I will be praying for you.

To The Mitchell Boys/Men ~ This path that you've begun down in the past few days is unfamiliar to you and yet there are many around you that have walked it before. Losing a Mom is a life-altering event and it will not make you less of a man to turn to others for comfort. By holding tight to God's hand through this journey you'll never be walking alone. You are in our prayers.

I'm sorry we did not know Susan better. I did get to work with Susan in the nursery on a Wednesday evening a month or so ago. It was good to get to talk with her some then. De, you and the LaMarr family have been such a blessing to our family since we've come to MBC. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. We have the blessed hope of being with her again.

So sorry for your loss, but it is Heaven's gain. Susan was a wonderful wife to Kenneth before his death, and a wonderful mother to the boys. She will be greatly missed by her church family also because she gladly served her church in so many ways.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. However, it gives me comfort to know that she is finally at home with the Lord she loved so much. I have so many fond memories of singing in the choir with her and teaching Bible School with her for several years. Each of you boys have your own special place in my heart for various reasons and because of that, I will pray for you each individually during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask.

Chris and Dee, I know there are no words that will console you now at this time but since I know you two better than the rest of your family, I want you know how much I'm praying for you two for comfort from God's presence at this difficult time. Your mother was always there for Chris' football games and a lot of times we sat together cheering for Chris and Derrick. You guys were always a light in her eyes and the love of her heart. I know she is now with Jesus rejoicing with the angels. If you ever need anything, Dee, you know where to find me and Roy. We will be there for you if you need us just to listen. We love you guys!!!

I remember talking to her one Saturday afternoon for quite awhile. She was so excited about having someone to talk with. I will miss seeing her out and about as well as seeing her water her flowers. We were all so blessed to have Susan in our lives. She was truly a light that illuminated each and every one of our days. Coming in to Bob Dunn will not be the same without her here to greet us. We worked with Susan thru Bob Dunn Ford. She was a wonderful person who cared about others. We sure will miss seeing her. Will always remember her smile. She always made us smile as well.
