It's been a long time since Sue and I explored Niagara Falls and Buffalo and Bowling Green. This news comes as a shock.
Sue truly did love animals and it was a challenge sometimes for her to stay calm when there was an animal in trouble anywhere within her sight. She was solely responsible for me ending up being owned by two fluffy cats called Gizmo and Cloe who were rescued from a Northwest Ohio truck stop in the early spring, a long time ago when she was a volunteer with the Wood County Humane Society.
Truly a warrior at heart, Sue taught me about her Seneca roots. We were supporters together of the Turtle facility in Niagara Falls.
She was the first person to tell me to grow the hell up, and the first person to give me permission to take a little time to reward myself for some hard work I had done. How do you say goodbye to someone who came of age with you? I don't know. She's the one person who would know best and I can't ask her.

Sue is a loss for us all. Strong fiesty and loving, she was a special spirit. I´m sure her spirit is welcomed with open arms at the gates of heaven on her return home.

Definitely makes me sad. I was her friend and coworker for over 10 years, and I sat next to her in our office for most of this time. She was always cheerful. A truer friend could not be found. She was a lovely person who will be sorely missed. Sassy but sweet.
